Louise has worked in the rheumatology and connective tissue disease department at the Royal Free London Hospital since 2005 and was the Lead Nurse (Specialist Practice) for the rheumatology and connective tissue disease service from 2009 -2024. She also spent a two-year secondment as the National Long Term Conditions Professional Lead for the Royal College of Nursing. Louise works closely with The British Society of Rheumatology and consults on a range of clinical projects and professional matters.
In 2024 Louise founded LP Associates (LPA), a healthcare consulting practice specialising in long-term condition management. Our clinical consulting practice is distinguished by its patient-centric approach and years of specialist practice in managing Raynaud’s phenomenon.
Kevin was the clinical scientist in charge of Microvascular Diagnostics at the Royal Free Hospital from 1992 - 2023.
He is an Accredited Senior Imaging Scientist and Fellow of the Royal Photographic Society, and current President of the European Association of Thermology.

Kevin was awarded his PhD for research using thermal imaging in rheumatology from the University of Glamorgan (now University of South Wales) in 2009.
He has extensive experience of nailfold capillaroscopy imaging in connective tissue diseases and contributes regularly to training and education via projects such as the British Society of Rheumatology Course on nailfold capillaroscopy.
